It’s a toss-up! I loved the ceremony backdrop of flowers raining from a rustic floating arch, suspended from a tree limb. It was whimsical, magical, and made a grand impression despite its delicacy. For me it was a special challenge, successfully incorporating lessons learned from other flower curtains and tree installations before it. (See the floating arch make another appearance at Sarah and Shawn’s wedding!)

And yet…my team had a blast planning for the DIY centerpiece activity during cocktail hour! We provided an assortment of bud vases, buckets of blooms, and some general instructions, then watched as guests unleashed their inner florists. My team then whisked them away to be arranged on the tables amongst our pre-made centerpieces and a bevy of candles. It was such a great way to get guests of all ages to engage with the floral decor, and to keep everybody entertained while the wedding party was taking photos. If you’re looking for a way to make your celebration memorable, this was a success!
